Oceanside 

This artwork Oceanside is an abstract painting featuring horizontal bands of varying shades of blue. The texture is rich, with hints of depth achieved through layered brushstrokes. A small area near the center introduces a contrasting touch with a gold vertical accent, adding a focal point and breaking the uniformity of the blues. The piece conveys a sense of calm and depth, reminiscent of a seascape or sky scape.

My inspiration: With soft focused eyes, I looked out from my studio through the mostly open venetian blinds. Noticing how we still piece together the beauty beyond the filter of the blinds.

This art piece is created acrylic paint and textured spray on encaustic board. The complementary colors in the horizontal band create a separate yet connected pattern. In the upper left quadrant of the painting a vertical band of gold ism slicing through the orange, red and yellow tones to emerge into view.

A petite work at 5"x7" this piece some framed in a wood frame.
